Arrival at Entebbe International Airport where you will meet your private safari guide. Begin your scenic journey through Uganda’s countryside toward Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe – Transfer to Bwindi
- Arrival at Entebbe International Airport
- Meet and greet with your private guide/driver
- Scenic road transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (8–9 hours)
- Stop at the Uganda Equator Line for photos and souvenirs
- Check-in at Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge
- Dinner and overnight stay
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking – Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
- Early breakfast at the lodge
- Transfer to park headquarters for gorilla trekking briefing
- Guided trek through the rainforest to locate a mountain gorilla family
- Spend one hour observing the gorillas in their natural habitat
- Return to the lodge for lunch
- Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park (4–5 hours)
- Boat cruise on Kazinga Channel viewing hippos, crocodiles, elephants and birds
- Dinner and overnight at Elephant Plains Lodge
Day 3: Morning Game Drive – Return to Entebbe
- Optional early morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park
- Possible sightings: lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, antelopes
- Breakfast at the lodge
- Drive back to Entebbe (6–7 hours)
- Transfer to Entebbe International Airport for departure
