Day 1: Nairobi – Samburu National Reserve

07:00 AM – Departure from Nairobi Meet your Africo Safari guide at your hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. After a safari briefing, depart north toward Samburu. Travel through Kenya's fertile Central Highlands, passing farms, coffee plantations and scenic countryside. 10:00 AM – Equator Crossing, Nanyuki Stop at the famous Equator Crossing for photographs and a short educational experience. Continue through Isiolo toward Samburu. 01:00 PM – Arrival & Lunch Arrive at your lodge or tented camp and enjoy lunch. Relax briefly before your afternoon safari. 03:30 PM – Afternoon Game Drive Enter Samburu National Reserve and begin your first wildlife adventure. Search for the Samburu Special Five: Grevy's Zebra Reticulated Giraffe Beisa Oryx Somali Ostrich Gerenuk You may also encounter elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, buffaloes and crocodiles. 06:30 PM – Sunset Experience Enjoy the changing colors over Samburu's rugged landscape before returning to camp. 07:30 PM – Dinner Overnight: Samburu Safari Lodge/Camp

Day 2: Full-Day Samburu National Reserve

06:00 AM – Early Morning Game Drive Depart as the sun rises over the reserve. The cool morning hours provide excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing and photography. Explore areas along the Ewaso Nyiro River, where wildlife gathers to drink. 09:00 AM – Breakfast Return to the lodge for breakfast. 10:30 AM – Wildlife Exploration Continue exploring Samburu's different habitats. Look for: Elephants Lions Leopards Cheetahs Grevy's zebras Reticulated giraffes Gerenuks Beisa oryx Somali ostriches Numerous bird species 01:00 PM – Lunch Enjoy lunch at the lodge. 03:00 PM – Afternoon Game Drive Head back into the reserve and search for wildlife you may have missed earlier. Optional Cultural Experience Visit a traditional Samburu community to learn about local traditions, beadwork, dances, livestock culture and daily life. 06:30 PM – Sunset Return to camp after enjoying another spectacular northern Kenya sunset. Day 3: Samburu – Lake Nakuru National Park

06:30 AM – Sunrise Game Drive Enjoy a final early morning game drive in Samburu. 08:30 AM – Breakfast Return to camp, have breakfast and check out. 09:30 AM – Departure Begin your journey south toward Lake Nakuru. Travel through the dramatic landscapes of the Great Rift Valley. 12:30 PM – Lunch Stop for lunch en route. 02:30 PM – Arrival at Lake Nakuru Check into your lodge and prepare for your afternoon safari. 03:30 PM – Lake Nakuru Game Drive Enter Lake Nakuru National Park and search for: White rhinos Black rhinos Rothschild's giraffes Lions Leopards Buffaloes Zebras Waterbucks Baboons The lake also attracts a variety of waterbirds, with flamingos appearing when conditions are favorable. 06:30 PM – Sunset Enjoy the beautiful Rift Valley scenery before returning to the lodge. 07:30 PM – Dinner Overnight: Lake Nakuru Lodge/Camp

Day 4: Lake Nakuru – Maasai Mara National Reserve

06:30 AM – Morning Game Drive Enjoy an early game drive while wildlife is active. Focus on rhino and giraffe sightings and explore the lake's surrounding habitats. 08:30 AM – Breakfast Return to the lodge for breakfast and check out. 09:30 AM – Departure for Maasai Mara Travel south-west through the Great Rift Valley toward the Maasai Mara. 01:00 PM – Lunch Enjoy lunch en route. 03:30 PM – Arrival at Maasai Mara Check into your safari camp or lodge. 04:00 PM – Afternoon Game Drive Begin exploring the Mara plains. Search for: Lions Elephants Buffaloes Giraffes Zebras Wildebeest Cheetahs Hyenas Topis Gazelles 06:30 PM – Sunset Enjoy your first Mara sunset. Overnight: Maasai Mara Safari Lodge/Tented Camp

Day 5: Full-Day Maasai Mara Safari

06:00 AM – Sunrise Game Drive Set off early for a full day of wildlife exploration. 09:00 AM – Bush Breakfast Enjoy breakfast at a designated scenic location. 10:00 AM – Mara River & Wildlife Exploration Continue toward the Mara River and explore wildlife-rich areas. During the Great Wildebeest Migration season, generally July–October, the Mara River can offer opportunities to witness wildebeest and zebra movements and, occasionally, dramatic river crossings. River crossings are natural events and cannot be guaranteed. 01:00 PM – Picnic Lunch Enjoy lunch in the wilderness. 02:00 PM – Afternoon Game Drive Continue exploring the reserve. Possible sightings include: Lions Leopards Cheetahs Elephants Buffaloes Hippos Crocodiles Wildebeest Zebras 06:30 PM – Return to Camp Dinner and relaxation. Overnight: Maasai Mara Safari Lodge/Tented Camp

Day 6: Full-Day Maasai Mara Wildlife Experience

06:00 AM – Sunrise Safari Enjoy another early morning game drive, giving you a second full day to explore the Mara and significantly increasing your chances of exceptional wildlife sightings. 09:00 AM – Breakfast Enjoy breakfast in the wilderness or return to camp depending on wildlife activity. 10:00 AM – Extended Game Drive Your guide will follow wildlife movements and explore different sections of the reserve. Focus on finding: Lion prides Leopards Cheetahs Elephant families Buffalo herds Giraffes Zebras Wildebeest Hyenas 01:00 PM – Picnic Lunch Enjoy lunch surrounded by the Mara's spectacular scenery. 02:00 PM – Afternoon Exploration Continue your final full-day safari. Day 7: Maasai Mara – Nairobi

06:00 AM – Final Sunrise Game Drive Enjoy one final game drive before leaving the Mara. This is your last opportunity to photograph wildlife against the beautiful morning light. 08:30 AM – Breakfast Return to camp for breakfast and check out. 09:30 AM – Departure for Nairobi Begin your journey back to Nairobi. 01:00 PM – Lunch Stop for lunch along the way. 03:30–04:00 PM – Arrival in Nairobi Arrive in Nairobi and transfer to your hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward journey.
