At Africo Safari, we provide clear and transparent safari travel conditions to ensure every traveler understands our booking, refund, and cancellation guidelines. These policies apply to all our Kenya safari packages, Tanzania safari tours, Uganda gorilla trekking trips, and all other East Africa tours.

Safari Booking & Payment Guide

Planning your safari should be exciting and stress-free. Our payment system ensures your lodges, park entries, and expert guides are all reserved in advance for your adventure.

  • Secure your spot A 30% deposit confirms your safari booking.
  • Second step 50% payment is due 2 months before your trip.
  • Final step The remaining balance is due 1 month before departure.
  • Last-minute booking? If your trip is within 2 months, we’ll ask for full payment at the time of booking.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change. Below is our official safari cancellation policy for all destinations including Serengeti safaris, Mombasa beach holidays, and gorilla trekking tours.

Notice Period Refund Amount
90+ days before trip Deposit is non-refundable; all other payments returned.
60 – 89 days before 50% refund of total trip cost.
30 – 59 days before 25% refund of total trip cost.
Less than 30 days / No-show No refund.
Peace of Mind: We highly recommend travel insurance to protect your trip against unexpected changes.
